My favorite music genre

Hello everybody!

Today I'll talk about a topic that really excites me. Music and particularly my favorite music. The truth I hear a lot of music , in fact is my favorite time passes because it relaxes me and takes me to meet a new world in my head.

I couldn´t  define a particular kind of style as I listen to music of all kinds, and I recognize myself as a person who knows too many songs . Really are many ! My knowledge in music is because very little my dad always has gotten used to it. In fact we love to sing together.

When I was a little girl I like Classical Music and Latin Rock. Years later I started listening Teen Pop (RBD), that my smother was disappointed lot. Finally, and even today I hear music of all kinds, Cumbia, Electronic Music, Rock, Reggaeton, Pop, Romantic and all that is me crossing the front. Only I don´t like Metal.

Although I like different kinds of music, my favorite is Latin Rock. I love it! Latin Rock is a term to describe a music subgenre consisting in melting traditional sounds and elements of Latin American and Caribbean folk with Rock Music.

Latin Rock (term not yet created) was born in the United States at late 1950s. In 1958 and adaptation of a Mexican folk song called “La bamba” by the chicano rock artist Ritchie Valens. That same year, instrumental rock band The Champs released "Tequila", that incorporates clear Latin sounds.

I also have a favorite singer, Francisca Valenzuela. She born March 17, 1987 in San Francisco, California. Is an American-born Chilean singer, poet, and multi-instrumentalist. In San Francisco, California, she resided until the age of 12, before moving to Santiago, Chile. She gained to popularity in Chile and Latin America, following the release of her debut album, Muérdete La Lengua in June 2007. Her second album, Buen Soldado followed in March 2011.

I love Francisca because she is a beautiful, smart, autentic and talented woman, and because she loves music and she does it.

My favorite band is Calle 13, a Puerto Rican band formed by René Pérez Joglar, who calls himself Residente (lead singer, songwriter), Eduardo José Cabra Martínez, who calls himself Visitante (multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, beat producer) and their half-sister Ileana Cabra Joglar aka PG-13 or recently ILE (backing vocals).

The band is characterized by mixing different rhythms like rap, rock, ska, merengue, bossa nova, cumbia, electronic music, among others, and is also known for its satirical lyrics, as well as a social commentary on issues of Latin American culture and politics and world news.

Graduate Studies

Hello everybody!

Today I want to talk about my future after University. I really don´t know what to do when I finish my university studies, neither in a specific field to work, but I guess at the beginning I will work in a Ministry for a while and I would like to work in a NGO´s to help people in the suburbs. These people have faced hurdles to improve their life conditions because of the high inequality existing in Chile.
I´m not sure of continuing after this degree, but I guess I would focus on minority, ethnic minorities rights, specially women´s ones. I´ m deeply interested in that field and I would like to get professional tools to work on it. This studies would be done at the University of Chile or Columbia University.

Once I've been trained in that, obviously, I would like to work on something related, especially if it is to advise women who have suffered domestic violence, rape, harassment or any form of oppression.
To this end, I would attend a course or lesson on human rights; Gender perspective; Right above all, to know the laws, the clauses and all that they entail. And thus be able to effectively advise women and solve the problems that afflict them.

I think that a society that does not respect the other species that coexist with it on the planet (and that, to say the least, is patriarchal and even reaches the end of misogyny), is really badly focused and lost, and in this scenario, I would like to contribute my knowledge and management capacity so that we can gradually exterminate these vices and forms of oppression so anachronistic and unjust.

My favorite cartoon

Hello everybody!

Today my classmates decide write about our favorite cartoon. When I was a little girl (ten years old) everyday I saw "Detective Conan". Until now, that I was twenty one years old I love it!
"Detective Conan" is an ongoing Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. The first chapter was emited on January 19, 1994.

The story is about Shinichi Kudo, a famous young detective who was transformed into a child (he looks like a child seven years old) by men in black.

After this, Shinichi decide to change his name to protect yours, get enough evidence to arrest the organization and find a cure to return to normal size.

Conan investigating a mysterious organization, and solves a multitude of cases while impersonating his friend's father and other characters whit a strange object by the back of his tie.

The first chapter that I saw was ten years old, on grandma´s house. I remember this and make me feel very happy. Whit Conan, I wanna feel good all day.

I love Conan because he is handsome, very, very smart and have a beautiful heart. He always want helps to people and protect your family. He always goes to the pursuit of justice, and this character in my opinion, is wonderful and difficult to find in a person. Also I admire your strength and capacity to achieve his objectives, and so it is my favorite among all cartoons.

Venice is a city located nortwesth of Italy, it characterized because it is situated across a group of 117 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by bridges. Parts of Venice are renowned for the beauty of their settings, their architecture, and artwork.
Venice has a legendary reputation for its wide artistic heritage and long history as a reference of European painting, so the style of successive Venetian painters kept some common characteristics.

Also, Venice is characterized because  there were born great artists of classical music, like Antonio Vivaldi, Richard Wagner and Ígor Stranvinski.
